Michigan Finnish serves all of Michigan, from Hancock to Farmington Hills and many places in between. We strive to preserve our Finnish heritage and culture. This site features information about Finnish American organizations and events throughout the entire state of Michigan. We promote events featuring Finnish Americans, Finnish festivals, fairs, and performers from Michigan.

 

We recognize the courageous emigrants who settled here and together, worked to become Americans. We honor this living community, created by our predecessors, and celebrate our cultural diversity with music, dance, food, and traditional arts. Finnish Americans in the United States and Michigan Finns in particular are encouraged to honor our history.
